Splashing in the water

Summer has barely started and already we have had so much fun at the beach, pool, and fountain in Fairfax Corner.  I love the simplicity of summer time.  Weekends schedule looks something like this: Wake up, get dressed, venture of the the pool or fountain and soak up the sun all day.  Sounds nice huh??  It is.  Here are a few pictures from Mommy and Nayla's fabulous adventures.

Ice Cream Time

After a rainy Saturday, Nayla an I took full advantage of a Beautiful Sunday.  We spend a little time at the Art Festival.  Nayla enjoyed looking at the doggies and I enjoyed the beautiful paintings, photography, and jewelry and meeting new people.  We ended the day with a little Ice cream.

Sleeping Beauty

I love sleeping babbies, especially my sleeping baby.  I love the little smiles and the wonder of her sweet dreams.

Making Wishes

Nayla loves to "make wishes" by blowing on the dandelions.  Just a quick picture trip in the neighborhood over the weekend

Ballet take 2!

Nayla just loves her ballet class. I am so happy that she enjoys and follows directions in a structured extra curricular at such a young age.  She practices at home and loves showing off her new Ballerina moves.

Flowers

Drove by the Cherry Blossoms yesterday downtown and they were beautiful!  It was a rainy day so this mural was the closest I was able to get to the blossoms.

A little about me...

My name is Shannon and I have a beautiful daughter, Nayla.  We live in Northern Virginia.  I shoot with a Nikon D3100.  Photography is my little hobby and I am a total beginner but having a blast learning plus I have the perfect model <3
